28 August 2008 - 23:51Summer

What an amazing girl,  what a great shoot!  You can never complain when you get a tall buxom intelligent beautiful blonde to shoot.  Mind you, i’ve been chasing Summer down for about a year to come in and work with me.  Hopefully these images will give her modeling career a nice start.

I call this series ‘fallen angel’  i thought i would revisit this concept i had begun a few years back. . .except for the ‘dirt’,  this images reminds me of one of the Hed Candi albums. . .look familiar?

I love shooting around my neighborhood!  This was a car a few blocks down from my studio, the owner leaves it unlocked and available for me to shoot models in,  i wonder how many more i can find round the hood?

This image was actually taken at the beginning of our shoot,  I use the ‘constraints’ of headshots to get my models used to the studio with limited movement.  This also gives me time to try a variety of lighting styles to see what suits their looks.  I actually had a harder time initially lighting Summer because everything worked on her and i just couldn’t decide which way i wanted to go. . .

How can you argue getting an End of the Day  image like this?  Thanks Ingela for your camera skills!

7 August 2008 - 14:05Dussault – Crushing the Competition

Its never a dull moment when the Crew from Dussault come down to the studio.  I love the constant range of creative concepts they are constantly coming up with.  This was essentially a studio photoshoot in the high key set.  I have a nice large piece of fake turf  for everyone to pose on which made an easier transition to the simulated grassy field.  Don’t worry,  the blood was digitally added. . . no models were hurt in the production of this ad!
